Description:
Trafford Virtual School are seeking expressions of interest from vendors that can offer effective attendance monitoring for looked-after children across all educational stages. Most children attend schools within the Trafford Local Authority; however, there are young people who are based across the UK. The education settings range from state schools to independent special schools to alternative providers. The successful web-based solution would be able to gather attendance data from any kind of establishment. The current requirement spans Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), school-age pupils, and post-16 learners. Solutions should provide accurate tracking, reporting, and data management capabilities to support compliance and performance monitoring across these cohorts. Our current contract is due to expire in July 2026, and we are exploring the available options. The current solution provides real-time AM/PM attendance updates (excluding manual data collection).
