- Essex County Council's (ECC) current managed network services contract ends 31st December 2025, with a further period for transition.
In December 2024 a cabinet paper was approved to procure a new reliable, resilient and managed network service for the Essex County Council Estate with service transition commencing from January 2026. The initial contract is for a period of 7 Years with optional extensions for up to 48 months and a further optional named Transition Assistance Period of up to 24 months. In November 2024, the Authority hosted a Bidder Event for suppliers to understand the direction of the Authority and presented on our strategic ambitions. The Event was extremely successful with over 60 different suppliers attending.
