Description:
Background information
This tender is seeking contractors to deliver major habitat restoration works. The works that form this tender are mostly to be completed during the period July to September 2025 with some work scheduled from June 2025 and one site Nov 2026-Jan 2026.

The work is for tree felling, tree surgery, scrub removal works, stump grinding. The sites are between Chingford and just north of Epping.

This work will contribute to the delivery of Epping Forest's Second Countryside Stewardship Scheme (CSS) agreement ("Forest 2").

There will be multiple lots in this tender. We will be seeking multiple contractors who have previous experience of providing similar works in a high value nature conservation site (Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) & Special Area of Conservation (SAC)) that is open to the public.

This tender will be published on the Jaggaer Contracts Plus portal on Monday 27th January 2025.

Site visit attendance is mandatory for the submission of a tender.
