- RMBC currently offers its residents two kerbside recycling containers. The black bin allows resident to recycle glass, cans, plastics bottles, pots, tubs, trays and cartons; and the green bin allows residents to recycling paper and card. Each recycling bin is collected monthly from around 220,000 households in its dedicated recycling rounds. Rotherham Business Waste offers the same options to local small and medium businesses with currently around 880 customers, collected weekly.
