Description:
This tender includes the services of: Practical Tree Maintenance, Tree Surgery & Clearance Works across a variety of Forested Urban & Rural Landscape Situations. Newry, Mourne & Down District Council is inviting submissions from Arboricultural Contractors to provide Tree Maintenance provision for all sites under its maintenance responsibility. Newry, Mourne & Down District Council places significant emphasis on the management of its extensive tree stock and has implemented a strategy which is aimed to stabilise this stock over the next generation & beyond. Tree works that are undertaken must be completed in a timely and highly professional manner by staff that are competent in the tasks expected of them and aware of the sensitive nature of the works that they undertake. The maintenance, making safe and conservation of the council's tree resource is paramount to outdoor locations across the district. Clearance and post works site rectification is also paramount to these jobs.
