HSENI is the lead body responsible for promoting and enforcing health and safety at work standards in Northern Ireland. HSENI requires an external contractor to assist in the testing of emergency plans as required by the following Regulations: • The Control of Major Accident Hazards (Northern Ireland) Regulations (COMAH). • The Pipelines Safety Regulations (Northern Ireland). HSENI works with Northern Ireland Emergency Preparedness Groups to prepare the Emergency Plans.
