Abstract: An Occupational Health provider gives settings access to clinical advice which gives schools the ability to manage attendance and ill health. The core services that must be supplied as a minimum are the provision of pre-employment checks, management referrals and assessment, ill health retirement assessments and eligibility certification. Additional functionality should include a means for schools to access further Occupational Health services such as counselling, physiotherapy, specialist clinics and training.
