Description : The Council invites quotations for an expert GIS, and spatial data consultancy to provide the following as part of a short-term engagement. 1. Define local authority specific best practice. o Spatial data and system support model o Effective management and governance of spatial data o Skills required to consume and leverage spatial data o Optimum funding model for annual GIS usage including resource and GIS product development 2. Review the usage of the councils current GIS systems, data and processes and provide a gap analysis against best practice (Note that the Council conducted an internal discovery a couple of years ago which will be made available as a starting point see Appendix 1). 3. Provide options appraisal for filling any identified gaps. 4. Suggest a best-fit strategy for Croydon and tactical steps and road map to the desired state. 5.
