Abstract: The following inspections and component overhaul are proposed , in order to enable the engines to be suitable for a further 10-15-year period.1. Nodal Damper Coupling (NDC) fluid level check2. Gearbox bearing and final alignment verification3. Cylinder Liner Nose O-ring Renewal4. Liner deglazing and Piston Ring Pack replacement5. Cylinder Head Decarbonising and Pressure Test6. Jacket Water Pump.7. Standard Service ProceduresWithin procedures 1 - 6 carry out standard service work to include:• Recalibration of fuel injectors (does not include nozzle replacement)• Pressure testing of internal fuel system• Renewal of lube oil filter elements (engine)• Renewal of lube oil filter elements (gearbox)• Renewal of fuel filter elements• Re-setting of exhaust valve tappet clearances• Visual Inspection of internal pipework• Visual Inspection of camshaft assembly and drive gear train• Visual Inspect all coolers and heat exchangers for external leakages• Operational check and ...
