Abstract: IfATE will be the contracting authority, subject to commencement of the relevant provisions of the Technical and Further Education Act 2017.References to IfATE should be read with this in mind.T Levels are a programme of Technical Education that have introduced a high quality technical option alongside an academic option for students aged 16 to 19.The initial Wave 2 contracts that saw T Levels launched in 2021 are now reaching their end and IfATE are now reprocuring for the next generation contracts.The purpose of the proposed procurement will be to select and appoint an Awarding Organisation (AO) to be responsible for developing and delivering the Generation 2, Wave 2 T Level qualification, under an exclusive licensing approach.The expected scope of the role of the AO is that it would be responsible for:- reviewing and updating existing content of the qualification, both initially and during the life of the contract;- creating an assess...
