Abstract: Due to Health & Safety risks and the time taken to decontaminate using the existing Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour (HPV) systems, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is looking to transition to an alternative method of decontamination using Hypochlorous Acid (HOCL) for Domestic Services pan-BCUHB.The Health Board is seeking to purchase eight large Hypochlorous Acid (HOCL) based acid misting units. The machine must be compatible for use within a clinical healthcare environment, using a stable Hypochlorous Acid that meets the required UK regulations.CPV: 42924720, 33191000, 39330000.
