Abstract: Event NoticeOn Street Solutions for Electric Vehicle ChargingThe Regeneration Team at Blaenau Gwent Country Borough Council will be holding an event to explore On Street Solutions for Electric Vehicle Charging. We are inviting suppliers to attend this event to discuss and showcase their solutions to Elected Members and officers. This event will allow the opportunity for suppliers to demonstrate their solutions, understand our challenges and potential future plans.Within Blaenau Gwent we are faced with many challenges when it comes to on street charging infrastructure, in parts of our borough some of the pavements are very narrow and uneven, making it challenging to decide on the best solution. 28.94% of houses in Blaenau Gwent do not have access to off street parking which means if they were to transition to Ultra Low Emission Vehicle alternatives, they would currently have to rely on the public charging network.
