Abstract: The Council will be seeking a contractor to provide Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems that will extract the exhaust emissions from within the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) fire stations / vehicle buildings emitted by the vehicles & other fuelled equipment (typically diesel fire appliances) to control exposure to individuals (and equipment/PPE) from the harmful effects of exhaust emissions. The vehicles are started and run in a 'closed environment', with adjoining rooms, offices, and equipment is stored in the area with potential for contamination from particulates and emissions.
