Abstract: Somerset Council is in the South West of England, an elected local government authority responsible for the local government services in most of the county. The Council provides a wide range of services, including education (schools, libraries and youth services), social services, highway maintenance, waste collection & waste disposal, emergency planning, consumer protection and town and country planning.Having recently merged to a Unitary authority we are currently running 5 contracts across 3 suppliers and wish to consolidate these.
