- Cumberland Council Healthy Places Team, who are responsible for delivering numerous events across Cumberland per annum, are in the process of establishing an ‘Event Provision Framework-. The Healthy Places Team have adopted an Event Sustainability Commitment. This commitment puts local businesses, economies, communities and the environment at the forefront of all events. Therefore, as your company provides the services and goods that will be outlined in the framework, we invite you to provide comment on our intended approach detailed below to ensure it is practical for all while ensuring you are aware of the upcoming opportunity.
We believe this approach will enable us to expand our event sustainability commitment further by ensuring opportunities to provide goods and services are distributed fairly to. Events will vary in location across the County, and creating a well-established framework across the two areas will allow businesses to bid for the relevant lots in their area for a range of events per annum. Those events ranging from:
- Taste Wigton
- Taste of the Sea
- Upperby Gallery
- Taste Cumbria
- Fire Show
- Taste Carlisle
- Taste Christmas
