- Argyll & Bute Council has a duty to carry out monitoring of water levels and flows in watercourses throughout the area. The monitoring network allows for remote monitoring of water levels, this is essential during flood events as it allows flood defences to be put in place early.The successful supplier will be required to provide the following:- Maintenance of existing monitoring sites- Setup and delivery of new monitoring sites- Management of web-based online telemetry recording system- Saving monitoring data for the duration of the contract and allowing client access (downloading ) of the data.- Unlimited SMS and email alerts when agreed thresholds are reached
