Description:
North Somerset Council intends to develop our own Family Group Conferencing in house, supported by an external trainer in this area to develop our own offer that is well organised and demonstrates the skills required to deliver these services.

An in-house offer gives North Somerset Children-s Services the most flexible offer to meet needs in a responsive way and supports a good practice model withing our social care teams as well. The FGC model in the majority of Children-s Services nationally is delivered in house, with only a few Local Authorities contracting this from an external provider.

Whilst we are in the process of developing our own offer, we are looking for a short term offer from an existing organisation to deliver a FGC service in North Somerset to approximately 186 sibling groups in a year and/or 15 FGC per month.

We would be grateful if any providers of FGC who would be interested in a potential short-term contract, could submit a response by completing the questionnaire attached and returning it via the messaging area of the portal by the deadline of 2pm on 21 April 2025.
