Description : Hydraulic Oils and Compressed Air for EV076 Operational Depot Accommodation Project / The Killingworth Sustainable Retrofit ProjectThe Authority has secured funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to support delivery of the Killingworth Site Sustainable Retrofit Project. This project is a combination of refurbishment and replacement of existing office accommodation, workshop, welfare and other facilities on the site ensuring it 'future proofs' depot operations. Energy efficiency and functionality are key principles, and the Project will use a wide range of energy efficient, generation and storage/distribution solutions to support a move to an electric powered operational fleet whilst reducing the site carbon footprint. This procurement opportunity relates specifically to Block F Vehicle Maintenance Workshop Refurbishment and North Tyneside Council will act as Principal Contractor for the project, therefore tenderers should note that they will be working in the capacity of Sub-Contractor.
