The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) is the employer-led skills, standards and qualifications body for the development of the engineering construction workforce of Great Britain. An arms-length body of the UK Government, the ECITB reports to the Department for Education. Our vision is a trailblazing Engineering Construction Industry where critical infrastructure, energy security and net zero ambitions are achieved. We are keen to engage with suppliers in advance of any formal procurement process to gain valuable insights, gather feedback, and respond to your questions for the procurement of our upcoming contracting opportunity for the development and delivery of the ECITB ACTIVE Cup Programme. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION. The ACTIVE Cup is a project management competition for the engineering construction industry, originally designed to reinforce the ACTIVE principles at its core. This well-established and highly regarded competition attracts delegates from a wide range of sectors and organisations. We anticipate appointing a supplier to partner with us in the development and delivery of the ACTIVE Cup Programme for an initial term of approximately three years. It is estimated that the contract will commence in February / March 2026 for delivery of a pilot in September 2026 and full delivery in November 2026. The tender is due to be published December 2026.
