Description : In order to meet its legal requirements under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, it is a requirement of Dudley MBC to procure the services of two specialist contractors to assist in the management and control of asbestos within domestic properties and corporate buildings. One contractor shall cover Zone A (the North of the Borough of Dudley) and the other shall cover Zone B (the South of the Borough of Dudley). This contract will predominantly deliver the following services: Section A. Housing Maintenance Team, Dudley MBC o Asbestos Bulk sample analysis to supplement Housing Maintenance Team (HMT) in house UKAS accredited laboratory. o 4 Stage Air Clearance Certification and attendance following removal of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) carried out by HMT licensed contractor. o Asbestos Management Surveys and reports to HSG264 to communal areas and domestic dwellings o Refurbishment/Demolition Surveys and reports to HSG264 to various locations to enable a programme of major refurbishments and redevelopments o Reinspection of ACM to check...
