- Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and competent providers to provide Disagreement Resolution and Mediation Services. Local authorities must make disagreement resolution services available to parents of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) up to the age of 25 years, and young people with SEND autonomously from 16 years, to resolve disagreements about any aspect of SEND processes whether the child or young person has an education, health and care (EHC) plan or not. This includes health and social care disagreements during the processes related to EHC needs assessments and EHC Plans.
