Abstract: This contract is for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of an internal cullet handling system to the Glass Futures site in St Helens, North West England.BackgroundGlass Futures Ltd is creating a new glassmaking Pilot Plant facility in St Helens, United Kingdom, to provide a GlobalCentre of Excellence for sustainable manufacture of glass. It will bridge the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) gapbetween research activity and full commercial implementation. The facility will have full plant utilities and services, afull-scale Batch Plant, initially a 30 tonnes per day furnace complete with container and flat glass manufacturingcapability.
