Description:
Construction Plan 1. Scope of Works. The works will include: • Site preparation and demolition of existing fence. • Earthworks, grading and sub-base preparation. • Installation of drainage systems. • Construction of reinforced concrete skatepark elements (bowls, ramps, platforms, coping). • Installation of street-style features (rails, ledges, stairs). • Perimeter works including pathways and landscaping. • Site clean-up, quality checks, and handover. 2. Methodology 2.1 Mobilisation • Establish site compound, temporary fencing and signage. • Set out works in accordance with approved design drawings. • Conduct pre-start meetings with subcontractors and suppliers. 2.2 Site Preparation • Clear vegetation, debris and unsuitable materials. • Carry out excavation to design levels. • Import and compact subgrade fill where required. 2.3 Drainage & Utilities • Install sub-surface drainage to prevent water pooling. • Connect to existing stormwater infrastructure. • Install conduits for future lighting and services. 2.4 Concrete Works • Coping and edging hot dipped galvanised. Cut ends to be treated with corrosion resistant paint system • Formwork, steel reinforcement and shotcrete application for bowls and ramps. • Machine finishing followed by hand-trowelling for smooth riding surfaces. • Expansion joints, coping stones and steel edges installed. 2.5 Ancillary Works • Install prefabricated hot dipped galvanised rails, ledges and modular features. • Construct pathways, seating areas an...
