Description:
The University is seeking to appoint a contractor to undertake the refurbishment of Roofs 1 & 2 at the Graham Hills Building. This project involves a full overlay installation with a tapered insulation deck to improve thermal efficiency (U-values) and the application of an IKO felt system that includes a 20-year guarantee. Key tasks include installing a new skylight, setting aside existing edge protection for reuse, and modification of the Clow roof ladder. Additionally, redundant services will be removed and capped. Items such as TV aerials are to be replaced, while retained services like the chimney will be refurbished/re-bedded. The Contractor will be responsible for completing the Works relevant to the project and based on the Specification. Inclusive of this project is a 12-month defects liability period.
