Description : Southampton City Council would like to invite expressions of interest from suitably qualified providers for the maintenance and repairs of audio visual and software equipment in our SeaCity Museum. The aim of this early engagement is to test the market for suppliers providing daily support for planned and reactive repairs. The equipment includes Video Projection, Interactive Touchscreens, Large Format Displays, Audio, and more complex interactive exhibits. The museum opened in 2012 and has around 140,000 visitors a year providing a vital source of income. The aim is for the contract to be awarded from 1st July 2024. The contract commencing on this date will be for a term of one year with possible extension options for a further four years. The forthcoming procurement will be conducted via the Council's tendering portal:Proactis - Supplier Network (proactisp2p.com)Providers may wish to register on the portal in readiness for a future tender.
