Description:
Children's Residential Home services for children and young people (12-18) with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. This procurement process is to commission a single provider to operate a residential provision in premises owned by Luton Council in Luton. The home will offer provision which has one to one staff at all times during the day, including two waking and one sleep in staff member. We are seeking a single provider with proven experience of managing and operating an Ofsted registered children's home rated Good or Outstanding. This is a specialist provision with the ability to meet the needs of young people with social, emotional, mental health needs age 12-17 years. It's imperative that the provider can encourage and actively support each young person to access education, training, employment or apprenticeship placements as appropriate, and the providers will be expected to have good links with colleges and the workplace. The provider will be required to deliver a sustained and consistent high-quality service in order to effectively respond to, contain and stabilise an immediate emergency situation involving children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
