NOTIFICATION OF SUBCONTRACT PACKAGE

A47 Blofield to North Burlingham Dualling:
Galliford Try are delivering the A47 Blofield to North Burlingham Dualling project in the county of Norfolk on behalf of National Highways. The project will replace the existing single-lane section of the A47 between Blofield and North Burlingham with a new two-lane dual carriageway 70m South of the existing road length and is 5km in length including safety improvements to the existing junctions.

Outline Scope of Works:
Provision of Portable Variable Message signs (pVMS) & Electronic Boards for Roadworks (EBRW) for the construction of the A47 Blofield to North Burlingham Dual Carriageway. Including, but not limited to, installation, maintenance, relocation and removal of pVMS, provision of journey time monitoring and display of information, speed detection / slow down signs. PVMS are to be provided in accordance with Traffic Signs Manual Chapter 8, Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions and National Highways Raising the Bar.

Full details and specifications will be provided to the successfully shortlisted suppliers. Suppliers should be aware of the scale of this project and should assess their internal capabilities to be able to carry out the intended scope of works, prior to completing this expression of interest (EOI).
