Abstract: Network Rail intends to purchase a new build fleet of 27 multi-modal freight wagons. These shall be interoperable with its current fleet of 50 FEA-F freight wagons which are used for the provision of seasonal treatment services on the UK rail infrastructure. The seasonal fleet is used to deliver high pressure water jetting to clear adhesion from the rail head during the Autumn season (October - December).
